Studio Introduction

Welcome to Roboteasy Development Studio technical documentation. Here you will find information about all the components available within the tool.

About Studio

It's the IDE created by Roboteasy for the development of RPA robots. The tool's main objective is to be simple and intuitive, so that the user's learning curve is minimal and they're quickly able to develop their own robots.

Development Strategies

There are three development strategies offered within the IDE, for different levels of users or for different automation goals. These are:

  1. Command line, with C# language: Command line development is ideal for more experienced developers. Using free code, the developer can do absolutely anything they want to build the robot, from importing any libraries or APIs to validating the most diverse types, just use your creativity.

  2. Drag and drop (fully low-code): In this strategy, the user will be able to drag and drop elements to build their robot. It will only be necessary to fill in some mandatory information for each element through a form and, in the back-end, the IDE will be generating the source code automatically. In this strategy, it is enough having some basic programming logic skills to build advanced robots to automate the most diverse company processes.

  3. Step recording: The no-code strategy uses our step recorder, in which the user can perform a process and the IDE will capture the step by step through the recorder and generate components and source code automatically. The recorder is very well used in cases where the process to be automated is very specific or with many tricks. In this strategy, there will be no need for programming.

What is possible to do with the tool?

Here are some practical examples to clarify you of what is possible to create using automation in your processes:

  1. Crack google captchas and recaptchas;

  2. Use OCR to detect text in images;

  3. Detect images on the screen with artificial intelligence;

  4. Full automation Web and Windows.

OnPremise

The installation of Roboteasy tools can be used in the cloud or in the On Premise model. In this case, the client will have Studio and Orchestrator on their local server, with their own database. In this model, the company itself is responsible for processing its applications.

The software will be installed and run on computers on the premises of the person or organization using the software, instead of a remote location such as a customer's local server or cloud. As it is an internal server, the company needs to have adequate physical space and it is important to consider issues such as whether the physical environment supports the structure, as well as security procedures.
