# New Excel

Object for creating new Microsoft Excel files

## Settings

| Object Identifier Name | Unique identifier name of the object for creating Excel files                                                          |
| Save In                | Directory + name of the file that will be created                                                                      |
| Spreadsheet name       | Name of the worksheet to be created                                                                                    |
| Password               | Password used to open the file if required                                                                             |
| Run in Background      | By default, the object will open the Excel Application. However, you can run it in the background by checking this box |

## Example

To create a new Excel file, this steps must be followed:

1 - Select the "**New Excel**" object from the "**Excel**" menu and drag it to your working area.

* First you must define a unique name for the object in the "**Object Identifier Name**" field, enter the complete directory containing the name and extension of the file and then set a password if desired.
* If the "Run in Background" option is selected, it will run in the background.
